Our founder Jeremy, left school in 1986, having had a passion for the Jaguar Land Rover brand from childhood. He applied to W E Sturgess & Sons (the local Jaguar dealer at the time) and gained an apprenticeship with excellent Jaguar training within the Sturgess family business.

Having seen there was a niche in the market for an alternative to the main dealer, the journey to establish Farriers Automotive began in 1993.

Fantastic! Will definitely be back again. After being let down by our JLR main dealer for our 2023 Range Rover with poor servicing and long lead times on appointments. I decided to try and find a local specialist in order to help. Farriers were the right people to call! Short lead times on appointments, very communicative, friendly and happy to help. Plus many more benefits of using manufacturer parts. I will definitely be using them from now on instead of marshalls.

Have been going to Farriers since they were small and worried that service would change when they moved to the new place and grew! Fear not - still the same personal touch and would highly recommend using Jeremy. I have an FType and now my old Land Rover Defender now goes there too. Can’t say I’ve ever stuck with a service centre like i have with Farriers! Highly recommend!

Where do I start!!! I've had problems with my lovely range for sometime now infact the past 5 months I've not been driving it was in limp mode, sounded terrible, drank oil the list goes on. I couldn't get any answers from anyone, even main dealer. I was recommend to contact Farriers by Land Rover. I'm so glad I made that call to bring it in for tests. They found various problems, gave me a quote and on agreement carried out all works. Jeremy & Emma have been fantastic with their honesty and communication from start to finish, the mechanics 5 star all the way!! Today I have collected my car and WOW she drives like a dream 😍 they even gave it a valet so is looking wonderful. If you have any problems with your land rover I can honestly say these guys are simply the best 👌 Thank you so so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Farriers is the best !after my daughter's land rover took a turn for the worse it went into farriers to be mended.they were first class.keeping us updated throughout.any parts needed they explained and told us the cost beforehand... Regular communication for the whole time the car was in their hands.... Nothing was to much trouble.kind and attentive... Lucy was wonderful and helpful on the phone and Jeremy was patient with our troublesome land rover.... We have no hesitation in recommended this lovely garage and it's staff.its a rarity these days to find such wonderful people and honest business.so THANKYOU

Have found a Jaguar servicing agent that I can trust, they are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Car has had services on its various parts and each time it's been to them it comes back washed and clean.
