Our founder Jeremy, left school in 1986, having had a passion for the Jaguar Land Rover brand from childhood. He applied to W E Sturgess & Sons (the local Jaguar dealer at the time) and gained an apprenticeship with excellent Jaguar training within the Sturgess family business.

Having seen there was a niche in the market for an alternative to the main dealer, the journey to establish Farriers Automotive began in 1993.

Farriers is an independent family garage specialising in the service and repair of Jaguar and Land Rover motor cars. Operating from our spacious state-of-the-art premises in Ratby, Leicestershire, our team of technicians have a passion for the Jaguar Land Rover brand! I recently took my Range Rover in for a problem with the retractable side steps, it was quickly diagnosed and repaired but also to my relief was covered under my JL warranty as the vehicle was fitted with these side steps when first ordered new. This was highlighted by Jeremy, the owner of Farriers. I had taken it to a main dealership in Nottingham a few months before this, where I had first purchased the vehicle, they wanted to replace the steps completely at my cost and never mentioned them being covered.
